Cathrineholm Lotus Pot Norway

17 Oct

This colourful enamel ware pot with the Lotus pattern on it is in very good condition, only showing minimal wear.  Grete Prytz Kittlesen  was the woman who designed the line of enamelware  and the pattern was designed by Arne Clausen in the 1960’s for Cathrineholm of Norway.  These are now very collectible and much sought after for both practical and esthetic purposes.  Grouped together in all the colours available, these make a wonderful display.

This item will be available only at the Ottawa Antique and Vintage Market November 4th and 5th, 2017 where I will have a large booth.  I also have a set of 6 of the smallest bowls made by Cathrineholm in the green and white Lotus pattern. The Antique show will be held at the Carleton University Fieldhouse on Bronson Ave. in Ottawa, Ont.

Please note this item is now SOLD!!

I couldn’t resist these colourful plates at a recent sale at an auction house.   They are not marked on the back so I don’t know anything about them.   They did come from an estate of an elderly couple so I am guessing they have some age to them.

Please Note: These plates are now SOLD!
