La Laurentienne Pottery Onion Soup Bowls

25 Nov

These two covered onion soup bowls were manufactured in the 50’s by La Laurentienne (Laurentian) Pottery in St. Jerome, Quebec.  One still has it’s original tag!  They are in pristine condition, never having been used.  Laurentian Pottery was in business from the early 1930’s to 2005 I believe.  These have a wonderful atomic star burst design in blue and black on a speckled background,  popular in the 50’s, with a unique styled handle on the lid.  Don’t they look great on the retro chrome table!  I found them at a local thrift store this week.

For sale at my booth at the Almonte Antique Market, 26 Mill Street, Almonte ON.

Priced at $10 each

Retro Thermos

4 Oct

Probably one of the most interesting Thermos’ that I have come across in my search for all things vintage.  This very large thermos has no maker’s mark on it but there is an embossed camel on the lid.  It came from an estate sale and was in practically new condition.  Great atomic design on an orange background.

Please note this item has been SOLD!!
