Three different sized milk jugs are featured here.  Manufactured by Carrigaline Pottery Ireland in the mid 50’s to early 60’s.  It is hard to identify the actual date.

The Carrigaline Pottery Co. Ltd, in County Cork in the southeast part of Ireland, was started in 1928.

The company closed in 1979, reopened under German ownership as the Cork Art Potteries. The company changed its name back to Carrigaline Potteries Ireland Ltd. and closed again in 2002.

The company also made complete sets of striped dishes in pink, yellow, blue, and turquoise and mint green.  Later striped patterns were done in combinations of olive green and brown; chartreuse and light chocolate brown; yellow and brown; dark green and light green.  You can sometimes find small egg cups, cream and sugar dishes, teapots etc.  They are increasingly more difficult to find now.

These are individually priced. Small ones are $12 and the larger ones are $15.

Available at my booth at the Almonte Antique Market, 26 Mill Street, Almonte ON.

Please note these jugs are now all SOLD!!!!
