Pattern is called Anniversary Rose made in Staffordshire England for Royal Swan in the early to mid 1900’s. This set is pristine, looks like the pieces were never used much, if at all. Complete settings for eight includes dinner plates, sandwich plates, rimmed soup bowls, cups, saucers, vegetable serving bowl, 2 platters and cream and sugar. One cup has a recent chip on the upper edge. This chip was done recently unfortunately . All the other pieces are in excellent condition. No crazing that I could see and no loss to the 22 kt gold trim.
The complete set is priced at $85, including the platters, bowl and sugar and cream.
They are on display in my booth at the Almonte Antique Market, 26 Mill Street, Almonte ON, just 30 minutes west of the city of Ottawa.
Please note: These dishes are now SOLD!!!
a complete set is a great find….love those roses!
Thanks. It is really a beautiful set, in mint condition. I think the previous owners must have put them away in a cupboard and never used them.
