This art deco print is by Henri G. Reynard and the printing company is “© John Drescher Co. Inc., NY.” ca. 1920’s or 30’s.
Henri G. Reynard was a pseudonym for R. Atkinson Fox.
It measures approximately 12 ” tall and 20 ” wide.
This was the very first picture I picked up at a thrift store around 25 or 30 years ago. I bought it for $2 and it is still in my home. The frame is beautifully carved wood with gilt highlights.
Is the Henri Reynard “Loves Echo” for sale, and if so how much? I live in USA would you send this in the mail, and if so how much would the delivery be?
Thanks, Marilyn Niles, Illinois 60714 USA
Hi, I am sorry but the print is not for sale at this time.
I have a copy of this print from the same time. The frame appears to be from the 1920’s as well. I have been trying to determine a value. Would you be able to give me any direction on how to set a value? Thanks.
Hi, I have searched on line for comparables to this print and found a few on ebay. The values range in price up to approx. $200 for a similar print. Search ebay using the artist’s name and you should find a few still up for sale. Check the prices of the ones that actually sold and you will get a better idea of value. Hope this is helpful.
